PEUGEOT imagines the future by drawing inspiration from its history and exceptional heritage. PEUGEOT RCZ Vision is the successor to the iconic RCZ coupé (2009–2015), a bold expression of PEUGEOT style and performance that has since become a collector’s item.

With PEUGEOT RCZ Vision, PEUGEOT’s design language, known as “Feline Future”, takes the Brand’s DNA to its ultimate expression, while conveying a futuristic vision imbued with elegance, simplicity and emotion.

PEUGEOT RCZ Vision introduces the technological innovations designed for the PEUGEOT models of tomorrow. Built on an architecture based on the STLA One platform and combining a solid-state battery designed in collaboration with Factorial Energy with a 1,000 V electrical architecture, it embodies PEUGEOT’s vision of high-performance, efficient electric mobility, **delivering 500 hp, up to 600 km of range and energy consumption of just 11.5 kWh/100 km, **with no compromise on driving pleasure.

PEUGEOT RCZ Vision reinvents the PEUGEOT onboard experience by making technology more intuitive, ergonomic and immersive, notably through Hypersquare® and an ingenious PEUGEOT i-Cockpit® featuring transparent Micro LED displays.

**PEUGEOT RCZ Vision previews a future generation of the PEUGEOT i-Cockpit®, combining the Hypersquare® steering control with transparent Micro LED displays. **In the race for even more screens, PEUGEOT takes a different path: rather than giving in to the “more is more” trend, it chooses “better over more,” quality over quantity …

The iconic architecture behind the success of the PEUGEOT i-Cockpit® is retained: positioned just above Hypersquare®, the transparent display presents all the information the driver needs directly within their field of vision, in a non-intrusive way and with an unprecedented level of personalisation. The floating central display, with its vertical orientation and slight angle towards the driver for optimal ergonomics, provides access to the infotainment and navigation system settings.

A PEUGEOT innovation, the transparent Micro LED displays offer the driver unprecedented and valuable freedom: the ability to configure the flow of information and displays according to their needs, even allowing them to disconnect almost completely.

In an environment characterised by an ever-growing flow of information, alerts and screens, PEUGEOT has chosen technology that is useful, customisable and able to fade into the background. The central display can therefore be switched off completely: thanks to its transparent structure, it virtually disappears from view, freeing the dashboard of any unnecessary visual presence and creating a cleaner aesthetic. Visual distractions are thus reduced, allowing the driver to remain focused on the road, while only essential information continues to be displayed on the screen positioned above Hypersquare®.

Like the transparent displays, Hypersquare® helps establish a more direct relationship between the driver and the road. Its unique ergonomics allow the driver to focus fully on driving: there is no need to move their hands from the steering control, as the main functions can be accessed at their fingertips within its four rings. PEUGEOT RCZ Vision is equipped with the same production version of Hypersquare® that will feature in the next-generation PEUGEOT E-208.

• Cutting-edge technologies that maximise driving pleasure

PEUGEOT RCZ Vision showcases PEUGEOT “X-by-Wire” technologies, which replace physical connections with electronic controls to optimise agility, precision and control the service of driving pleasure.

Hypersquare® combined with Steer-by-Wire, delivers a reinvented driving experience that is more instinctive and precise. There is no longer any form of mechanical connection between the steering control and the wheels: steering is now 100% electronic. Beyond conventional power assistance, the system innovates by adapting the steering ratio according to vehicle speed.

**At low speeds, Hypersquare® and Steer-by-Wire make every manoeuvre quick and easy, without requiring the driver to move their hands or make multiple turns of the steering control **(maximum rotation is slightly less than one full turn, compared with three turns for a conventional steering wheel). **At higher speeds, the steering ratio is reduced to ensure optimum smoothness and composure. **This technology filters out unwanted vibrations caused by road surface imperfections, delivering remarkable driving comfort in all conditions.

PEUGEOT RCZ Vision is the first PEUGEOT to feature Brake-by-Wire technology. In addition to Steer-by-Wire, Brake-by-Wire sees the hydraulic connection between the pedal and the brakes replaced by an electronic control, providing even more precise braking modulation and seamless integration of regenerative braking, for greater energy efficiency and enhanced driving pleasure.

PEUGEOT RCZ Vision takes the driver into the world of Level 2++ automated driving. Available on demand, both in the city and on the open road, the hands-free function makes journeys smoother without ever compromising driving pleasure.

• Advanced electric technology for greater performance and efficiency

PEUGEOT RCZ Vision is built on an architecture based on STLA One, a next-generation modular platform designed to support the Brand’s future technologies, particularly X-by-Wire systems. Its scalable architecture aims to reduce complexity, accelerate development cycles and improve profitability through modularity engineered in from the outset and its readiness to accommodate new battery options. The modularity of this architecture also facilitates the reuse and recycling of components at the end of their service life.

PEUGEOT RCZ Vision introduces a solid-state battery, a forward-looking technology that pushes the boundaries of efficiency. Its high energy density enables more electricity to be stored in a smaller volume, benefiting both driving range and battery compactness.

Developed in collaboration with Factorial Energy, the solid-state cells have been tailored to the PEUGEOT RCZ Vision’s performance ambitions, delivering higher energy density together with outstanding charging and power capabilities.

This solid-state battery is built on a 1,000 V architecture, a high-voltage technology designed to accelerate charging and simplify customer experience. The battery’s state of charge can therefore rise from 10% to 80% in just 10 minutes.

Feline Future is defined by five principles: Freedom, Courage, Elegance, inner force and Instinct.

This courage is tangibly expressed through the free reinterpretation of an iconic model, the choice of a low-slung, spectacular silhouette, and a digital experience that rejects the race for ever more screens. It is also reflected in the integration of breakthrough technologies designed to strengthen the connection between the driver, the car and the road.

• A reinvented feline expression

The feline stance of PEUGEOT RCZ Vision conveys inner force and visible power without aggression—the instinct of the Lion! PEUGEOT RCZ Vision has a cat-like presence, leaning slightly forward, ready to pounce.

PEUGEOT RCZ Vision is a muscular yet composed beast. Its shoulders are strongly defined at both the front and rear, and its flanks are deeply sculpted, yet its forms remain soft and rounded. The contrast between the slim, transparent cabin—a genuine glass bubble—and the broad, sculpted body contributes to RCZ Vision’s feline stance on the road.

**PEUGEOT RCZ Vision features the new PEUGEOT light signature, reinventing the iconic three claws that swipe. **Ultra-slim and arranged horizontally in a modern, highly technological gesture, they give the car a unique presence and charisma.

At the front, these three horizontal light claws are topped by an ultra-compact Thin Lens LED headlamp that forms the Lion’s gaze. PEUGEOT RCZ Vision makes a bold statement with its illuminated emblem, a spectacular micro-perforated “RCZ” graphic across the bumper, and generous air intakes which feature grilles made up of micro-sculpted “RCZ” motifs. Attention to detail is taken to the extreme.

At the rear, the three horizontal claws incorporate all the lighting functions for a fully integrated design. Nothing interrupts its aesthetic fluidity: the active spoiler—like that of the original RCZ—remains invisible when stationary and deploys only while driving to optimise aerodynamics.

The “bubble roof” and spectacular cockpit arches also pay tribute to the original RCZ. On PEUGEOT RCZ Vision, PEUGEOT takes the glass-bubble concept even further: it extends from the bonnet to the rear of the vehicle, while the iconic double-bubble profile is accentuated to optimise rear-seat space. The arches are reinterpreted in a modern way; slimmer and seemingly floating, they bring visual lightness to the design. As part of a more sustainable approach, solid aluminium has been replaced by a paint made from recycled aluminium.

For the wheels of PEUGEOT RCZ Vision, PEUGEOT returns to one of the fundamentals of a sports car: lightness. These 21-inch front and 22-inch rear forged-aluminium wheels feature a radiating-spoke design—a longstanding PEUGEOT signature— ultra refined, minimising the materials used. Connoisseurs will appreciate the small triangular details around the rim, a nod to those found on the iconic first-generation PEUGEOT RCZ wheels.

**This pursuit of lightness and efficiency through design extends throughout the vehicle. **PEUGEOT RCZ Vision’s highly sculpted, exceptionally sleek and low-profile silhouette notably benefits from an ultra-thin battery measuring just 110 mm in thickness.

Aerodynamics, weight optimisation and the electric architecture all contribute to the target of achieving energy consumption of 11,5 kWh/100 km on the WLTP combined cycle (figure to be confirmed).

• “A blend of warmth and technology”: a cabin combining technological sophistication, refinement and emotion

**PEUGEOT RCZ Vision illustrates what the cabin of a future PEUGEOT flagship could look like. **Designed as a bright and welcoming cocoon, it combines elegance through simplicity, technological sophistication and emotional warmth. Technology is seamlessly and discretely integrated to preserve a friendly, calming atmosphere focused on occupant well-being.

The dashboard is sculpted as closely as possible around the technical components it houses, with no unnecessary volume, thereby optimising interior space. This approach is taken to the extreme: the air vents are mobile and can disappear into the dashboard when not in use.

**The elegant floating centre console brings together several physical controls — driving modes, climate control and more — machined from aluminium and arranged on a spectacular frosted-glass surface, **combining sophistication with practicality.

Impressive and innovative, the seats create a Grand Touring atmosphere, offering exceptional comfort and support. Their asymmetrical architecture provides reinforced support towards the centre of the vehicle, both to optimise lateral support and to protect the floating central display. The seatbacks feature open sections to reduce weight without compromising passenger comfort.

In true GT spirit, PEUGEOT RCZ Vision offers a dedicated four seat cabin. Passengers can easily access the rear, where two adults can be accommodated in comfort. The rear seatbacks can be folded down to increase luggage space.

The Grand Touring inspiration also extends to the high-quality materials used throughout the PEUGEOT RCZ Vision cabin. It is trimmed in Alcantara® and innovative recycled leather— described below—in a bright, light-blue colour scheme that further enhances the feeling of openness. The tactile contrast between these warm materials and the technological machined-aluminium components contributes to the emotion conveyed by the PEUGEOT RCZ Vision interior.

This pursuit of refinement extends to the smallest details, notably with a dashboard clock designed by SERICA, the French watchmaker. United by a shared vision of sporty elegance, PEUGEOT and SERICA reinterpret classic codes with a resolutely contemporary approach.

With its flowing yet structured lines, the Parade watch blends seamlessly into the central display support. Once in place, its design is echoed on the screen through a sleek, graphic digital interpretation.

• Innovative materials combining emotion and responsibility

PEUGEOT RCZ Vision uses innovative materials that combine perceived quality, emotion and responsibility. The seats are upholstered in PELINOVA® leather made from recycled offcuts from the leather-goods industry—untanned animal leather that would otherwise typically go unused. This new material offers all the elegance, comfort and sensory qualities of genuine leather — including its scent and feel — with a reduced environmental impact.
