Nine Betway Premiership matches this week

Defending champions Orlando Pirates headline the midweek Betway Premiership schedule. Mamelodi Sundowns are also in action as they look to strengthen their early-season position.

Meanwhile, Kaizer Chiefs will be under pressure to deliver when they close out the week against Siwelele FC. The action begins on Tuesday with two matches.

MAMELODI SUNDOWNS LEAD MIDWEEK BETWAY PREMIERSHIP ACTION

Durban City FC welcome Stellenbosch FC in the first fixture. At the same time, newly promoted Kruger United FC face a major test against Orlando Pirates at Mbombela Stadium.

The Buccaneers will be looking to maintain their strong start to the campaign. Wednesday brings another opportunity for Mamelodi Sundowns to make a statement.

The reigning African champions host Milford FC at Loftus Versfeld Stadium. The Brazilians will be favourites, but Milford will be determined to cause an upset.

The league action then resumes on Friday with another doubleheader. Richards Bay FC host AmaZulu FC in a highly anticipated coastal derby at Richards Bay Stadium.

Elsewhere, Marumo Gallants FC take on Polokwane City FC at Royal Bafokeng Stadium. Both sides will be targeting maximum points as they look to establish themselves in the early-season standings.

Saturday brings another two fixtures.

Chippa United FC face Milford FC at Dobsonville Stadium, with the visitors potentially having to manage a quick turnaround after their midweek trip to Pretoria.

Later, Sekhukhune United FC meet TS Galaxy FC at Peter Mokaba Stadium. The weekend then concludes with two major fixtures on Sunday.

Lamontville Golden Arrows FC host Mamelodi Sundowns at Princess Magogo Stadium in a clash that could produce fireworks.

The final match sees Kaizer Chiefs welcome Siwelele FC. The Amakhosi will play at Royal Bafokeng Stadium and will be desperate to finish the busy week with three points.
