Cyclone threat looms over Bay of Bengal, heavy rain alert for south Bengal from Wednesday

A cyclone is likely to develop over the Bay of Bengal in the coming days, raising the prospect of heavy rain, thunderstorms and gusty winds across several districts of West Bengal from Wednesday, the Regional Meteorological Centre in Kolkata said on Saturday.
