Wa West: Siriyiri Assembly Member Calls for Support to Improve Healthcare in Remote Communities

Assembly Member for Siriyiri electoral area in the Wa West Dsitrict of the Upper West Region Mr. Osman Adams has called for greater logistical support for health workers serving remote communities, saying difficult travel conditions and long distances are hindering access to essential care.Speaking to Info Radio during the visit of the Director General of Ghana Health Service to the Siriyiri community, Mr Adams, who represented the Chief of Siriyiri,-Naah Alhassan, said nurses and other health professionals in Siriyiri face significant logistical and environmental challenges when reaching underserved communities.
