Doris Ogala accuses Pastor Jerry Eze, Johnson Suleman of having hand in her remand
According to a report by Daily Post on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, popular Nollywood actress and African Action Congress (AAC) governorship candidate in Abia State, Doris Ogala, has accused two prominent Nigerian religious leaders, Pastor Jerry Eze and Apostle Johnson Suleman, of allegedly playing a role in her remand in prison.
The actress made the allegations following a decision by the Lagos State High Court on Wednesday to remand her at the Ikoyi Correctional Centre amid an ongoing legal dispute involving Pastor Chris Okafor, the founder of Grace Nation Bible Ministry.
Ogala is currently facing four criminal charges connected to allegations of harassment, cyberbullying, attempted extortion, the publication of private materials belonging to the cleric, and the circulation of information allegedly intended to damage his reputation.
However, following her remand, the actress took to social media to express her displeasure over the situation, claiming that certain influential religious personalities were involved in the circumstances surrounding her detention.
In her statement, Ogala specifically mentioned Jerry Eze and Johnson Suleman alongside Chris Okafor, alleging that her knowledge of sensitive information concerning the religious leaders might have contributed to her present difficulties.
She further suggested that some individuals connected to the pastors had previously approached her regarding a video she released, allegedly requesting that she take certain actions to protect their reputations.
The actress also raised concerns about her personal safety while in custody, claiming that she feared an alleged attempt on her life.
Ogala consequently urged members of the public to hold the religious figures accountable if anything unfortunate happened to her during her detention.
Despite the seriousness of her accusations, the claims remain unverified, and the report did not establish that Jerry Eze or Johnson Suleman participated in any effort to influence the court’s decision.
The development comes amid Ogala’s continuing legal confrontation with Pastor Chris Okafor, which has attracted public attention because of the personalities involved and the allegations surrounding the case.
Her remand represents another significant development in the dispute, although the criminal charges against her remain allegations that must be determined through the judicial process.
As the matter continues, attention is expected to remain on subsequent court proceedings and any responses from the religious leaders mentioned in the actress’s public statement.
