ZRP divers retrieve ZimParks rifle from depths of Zambezi River in Kanyemba

In a statement, ZRP said: “On 20 September 2026, members of the ZRP Subaqua Unit recovered an AK rifle with a magazine loaded with 20 rounds in the Zambezi River, Kanyemba area. The rifle belongs to ZimParks and was lost during routine anti-poaching patrols along the Zambezi River.”
