Ampem Darkoa Ladies coach Charles Ankokye says discipline, determination and hard work have been central to his side's impressive run at the WAFU B CAF Women's Champions League qualifiers.The Ghanaian champions have won all three of their Group B matches, making them the only team in the competition to maintain a perfect record heading into the semi-finals.Ampem Darkoa secured top spot on Sunday after recovering from a goal down to beat Nigeria's Edo Queens 2-1 and finish the group stage with nine points.They had earlier defeated defending champions ASEC Mimosas 1-0 before cruising past AS GNN 4-0, scoring seven goals and conceding just once across the three matches."The journey hasn't been so easy. It's been tough, and with discipline, determination, hard work and commitment, we've been able to at least put up our best and get to the semi-final of the competition," Ankokye said.The Ghanaian champions now face FC Dynamique of Togo in Wednesday's semi-final at the August 4 Stadium in Ouagadougou.Ankokye believes the team's objective is clear as they pursue a place in the final and ultimately a spot in the Women's Champions League main tournament."If you want to be the best or remain the best, you need to beat the best," he added.Victory would send Ampem Darkoa into the final against either USFA or Edo Queens.
