The Palestinian Prisoners’ Club said on Monday that Israeli authorities had transferred Palestinian journalist and detainee Bushra Al-Tawil, 33, from Damon Prison to solitary confinement at Ramle Prison, about six months after her arrest and subsequent placement in administrative detention. The non-governmental group said in a statement that Al-Tawil, from the city of Al-Bireh, was arrested in February 2026 and later placed in administrative detention. She has previously been detained several times. Al-Tawil’s experience of detention began in 2011, when she was 18, with most of her previous detentions involving administrative detention, according to the statement.
