The Fraud Case That Claimed Rolls-Royce Used Scrap To Build Engines Powering The B-52, Global Hawk, & MQ-25

A judge in Indianapolis opened the door for two Rolls-Royce quality control employees to bring forth fraud claims in 2012. The two whistleblowers alleged that the company delivered roughly 180 engines for military aircraft that were knowingly manufactured using scrap parts and defective materials. The lawsuit also claimed that critical safety tests were skipped, and quality control measures were bypassed to cut costs and expedite production.
