Adequate security measures have been put in place, ahead of the inauguration of President-elect, HAKAINDE HICHILEMA tomorrow.
Police Spokesperson, GODFREY CHILABI says adequate numbers of officers have been deployed at the venue and other strategic locations.
The inauguration will be held at the National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka.
Mr CHILABI has added that patrols have also been intensified to ensure public safety and order.
He has explained that the presence of police officers is not intended to intimidate members of the public, but to ensure maximum safety and security before, during and after the event.
