Africa Early-Stage Investor Summit returns to Cape Town in November

The Africa Early-Stage Investor Summit (AESIS), co-created by ABAN and VC4A, will host its 13th edition in Cape Town, South Africa, on November 25-26.

Since its launch in 2013, AESIS has welcomed more than 3,300 participants representing over 90 countries, establishing itself as one of Africa’s most influential platforms for shaping early-stage investment across the continent.

Building on this legacy, this year’s summit will bring together the ecosystem once again to advance conversations, partnerships, and investments that will shape Africa’s entrepreneurial future.

Under the theme Capital with Conviction, AESIS will bring together more than 300 angel investors, venture capital fund managers, limited partners (LPs), development finance institutions (DFIs), family offices, corporate venture capitalists, policymakers, and ecosystem builders from across Africa and around the world to examine how capital can be deployed with greater purpose, discipline, and long-term impact.

“As Africa’s investment ecosystem matures, the conversation can no longer be limited to raising more capital. The real question is how we deploy that capital with greater intention, discipline, and long-term commitment,” said Vincent Hoogduijn, CEO of VC4A.

“Capital with Conviction challenges investors to move beyond market cycles and invest in building resilient companies, stronger ecosystems, and lasting value.”
