African Union Commission (AUC) Chairperson met with His Excellency (H.E.) Khalilur Rahman, President of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly

H.E. Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, Chairperson of the African Union Commission, met with H.E. Khalilur Rahman, President of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly, to discuss Africa’s priorities and reform of global governance.

They reaffirmed the need for Africa’s full, permanent and equitable representation on the UN Security Council, and Africa’s essential role in advancing peace, security and effective multilateralism.
