Oliver Glasner, Nottingham Forest manager, will reunite with his former player Daniel Munoz following a £22m agreement between Forest and Crystal Palace.
Munoz joined Palace from Belgian side Genk in 2024 and has been a key player for the Eagles in recent seasons, playing a crucial part in the club’s historic FA Cup and Europa Conference League triumphs under Glasner.
The 30-year-old Colombia international
has just under two years left on his current deal and Palace are prepared to sell this summer.
Palace signed Anan Khalaili from Belgian side Royale Union Saint-Gilloise earlier this summer and the Israeli is expected to take Munoz’s place in Pierre Sage’s team.
Munoz has made 109 appearances for Palace, scoring 11 goals, and played in their opening 2-0 Premier League defeat at Everton on Match Day 1.
However, he was an unused substitute in the loss to City. Talks over the move have been ongoing for several days and accelerated after Palace’s 4-1 defeat by Manchester City on Friday
Forest have also launched a £40m bid plus a potential sell-on clause to sign Everton’s teenage midfielder Harrison Armstrong.
