NEXUS emerges outstanding consumer electronics brand of the year

NEXUS, a leading consumer electronics brand in Nigeria, has been named *Outstanding Brand of the Year, Consumer Electronics*, at the 2026 EDGE Awards.

The recognition was presented at the 14th edition of the EDGE Awards, organised by MARKETING EDGE, held on September 25, 2026, at Ten Degrees Event Hall, Oregun, Lagos.

Held under the theme, “Celebrating Excellence Beyond Borders,” the 2026 EDGE Awards brought together leading brands, marketing professionals, advertising practitioners and business leaders to celebrate outstanding performance and excellence across Nigeria’s marketing and business landscape.

For NEXUS, the award recognises its growing presence in Nigeria’s consumer electronics market and its commitment to building a brand centred on quality, innovation, affordability and customer satisfaction.

NEXUS, a brand of Deekay Group, has established a strong presence in the Nigerian market, offering a range of consumer electronics designed to meet the everyday needs of households and businesses. Beyond providing products that combine functionality, quality and value, the brand places emphasis on customer experience, supported by an after-sales service network that extends across Nigeria.

Through its nationwide after-sales service coverage, NEXUS reinforces its commitment to supporting customers beyond the point of purchase, helping them access the assistance they need throughout their product ownership journey. This focus on service and customer support forms an important part of the brand’s ambition to build lasting relationships with Nigerian consumers.

Receiving the award, Kavine Vaswani, Group Managing Director of Deekay Group, makers of NEXUS, said the recognition would encourage the brand to remain focused on delivering value to its consumers.

“This recognition belongs to our consumers, whose trust continues to inspire us. It motivates NEXUS to keep raising the bar in quality, innovation and value while strengthening the customer experience through reliable after-sales support.”

The award comes amid growing competition in Nigeria’s consumer electronics market, where local consumer preferences, product quality, affordability, after-sales support and brand trust continue to shape purchasing decisions. For consumers, confidence in a brand increasingly extends beyond the products they purchase to the level of service and support available after the sale.

The EDGE Awards has over the years provided a platform for recognising brands and professionals that have distinguished themselves through innovation, creativity, marketing excellence and business impact.

The 2026 edition also celebrated the enduring legacy of MARKETING EDGE founder and publisher, John Ajayi, while highlighting brands and industry leaders contributing to the growth of Nigeria’s marketing and communications ecosystem.

For NEXUS, the latest honour adds to its brand journey and reinforces its ambition to remain a trusted name in Nigeria’s consumer electronics industry. By combining accessible, quality products with after-sales service coverage across the country, the brand continues to focus on delivering value that extends beyond the initial purchase.

The recognition further underscores NEXUS’s commitment to connecting with consumers, responding to the changing needs of the Nigerian market and building lasting trust through its products and customer service.
