Scottland identifies potential replacements for Norman Mapeza

Scottland FC have reportedly identified Dynamos coach Aristica Cioaba and former Warriors coach Michael Nees as potential replacements for Norman Mapeza, who has reportedly been fired.

Cioaba is understood to be the favourite to take over at the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League champions.

However, Scottland would have to be patient and allow the Romanian tactician to finish the season with Dynamos, as he remains under contract with the Harare giants.

Nees, who previously coached the Zimbabwe senior national team, has also been linked with the vacant position as Scottland consider their options following Mapeza’s reported departure.

Meanwhile, Peter Ndlovu, the club’s current team manager, could take charge on an interim basis for the remainder of the season, with the substantive coach expected to take over ahead of the next campaign.
