Kenyans Using Fuliza May Want to Check This Safaricom Update

Safaricom customers who rely on Fuliza M-PESA may want to know whether they qualify for a higher borrowing limit. The service allows eligible users to complete M-PESA transactions when they do not have enough money in their accounts.

Fuliza M-PESA is an overdraft service offered through Safaricom in partnership with NCBA Bank and KCB Bank. Customers who qualify can use the service to complete eligible transactions and repay the amount borrowed later.

Customers can access Safaricom services by dialling *234# on their mobile phones. They should follow the instructions displayed on the screen to find the relevant M-PESA or Fuliza options available to them.

However, customers should understand that accessing Fuliza does not automatically increase their borrowing limits. The amount available to each customer depends on the assessment conducted by the service providers.

Customers hoping to receive a higher limit should check the official Fuliza menu for any available options. They should also rely on verified communication from Safaricom rather than messages circulating on social media that promise an automatic increase.

Fuliza limits may vary from one customer to another. A limit available to one person does not necessarily mean another customer will receive the same amount.

The service is designed to help eligible customers complete transactions when their M-PESA balances are insufficient. However, the money borrowed must be repaid, and applicable service charges may apply.

Customers should therefore check the terms and charges displayed before using Fuliza. Understanding the repayment requirements can help them make informed decisions about borrowing.

Anyone seeking a higher Fuliza limit should confirm the available procedures through Safaricom’s official customer service channels. This is important because a USSD code that provides access to a service does not necessarily guarantee an increase in the amount a customer can borrow.

Safaricom customers should verify any new instructions directly with the company before following claims about changes to Fuliza limits.
