Simba Arati Hints at What He Will Announce Tomorrow on Behalf of ODM Party Leader

Kisii Governor Simba Arati has announced that he will deliver a message from Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Oburu Odinga, attracting attention amid ongoing political developments within the party.

Speaking in a video circulating on Facebook, Arati said he would communicate Oburu’s message on Thursday, October 15, 2026, raising expectations among ODM supporters eager to hear what the party leadership has to say.

“I will be giving the message of OBURU ODINGA tomorrow,” Arati stated.

The announcement comes at a sensitive moment for ODM, with the party facing questions about its leadership, political direction and relationship with President William Ruto’s administration.

Oburu, who took over the party’s leadership following the death of his younger brother, former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, has remained a central figure in efforts to maintain unity among ODM leaders.

His health has also attracted public attention in recent days, with party officials providing updates on his condition as he receives medical attention.

Arati’s announcement has therefore generated interest among supporters who are waiting to hear whether the message will address the party’s internal affairs, its cooperation with the government or its preparations for the 2027 General Election.

ODM has been navigating competing political interests, with some leaders supporting cooperation with Ruto’s administration while others have expressed concerns about the arrangement.

The party has also faced pressure from leaders associated with the Linda Mwananchi movement, including former ODM Secretary-General Edwin Sifuna, whose political activities have continued to generate debate.

Arati, a prominent ODM politician, has remained active in discussions surrounding the party’s future and the need to maintain cohesion among its members.

Although he did not reveal the contents of Oburu’s message, his announcement has created anticipation ahead of Thursday’s communication.

ODM supporters will be watching closely to establish whether the message provides clarity on the party’s next political steps.

The announcement was shared through a Facebook video, which has attracted attention as Kenyans await further details from the Kisii governor.
