Morocco’s ambassador to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Mustapha Mansouri has voiced the Kingdom’s firm commitment to supporting the Palestinian people and strengthening their resilience.
In his address made Thursday in Jeddah at the 23rd Extraordinary Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the OIC Member States, the ambassador said the Moroccan commitment to the Palestinian cause is seen
in the daily actions carried out on the ground by the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency, the executive arm of the Al-Quds Committee.
He cited in this regard the tangible efforts deployed on the ground by the Agency through the implementation of developmental, social, and humanitarian projects aimed at supporting the resilience of the Al-Quds inhabitants, improving their living conditions, and preserving the social fabric of the city.
Morocco has also engaged in international initiatives aimed at strengthening peace and stability in the region, underlined the diplomat.
The Jeddah OIC ministerial extraordinary meeting discussed the situation in Al-Quds and its Islamic & Christian Holy Sites with a view to adopting common positions against the illegal Israeli measures targeting the identity of Al-Quds and its Holy Sites.
