BULAWAYO, ( NEWSDAY LIVE): Police in Bulawayo have launched a manhunt for a Harare man over theft of a motor vehicle.
Acting provincial police spokesperson Assistant Inspector Thandekile Ndlovu identified the suspect as Brian Bhuru of Budiriro, Harare, but originally from Chief Sai’s area in Gokwe North district.
“We are appealing for information that may assist in the location and arrest of a wanted person, Brian Bhuru of Budiriro, Harare, in connection with a case of theft of a motor vehicle, a silver Nissan Sedan,’’ Ndlovu said.
“On January 13 2026, the motor vehicle was hired in Bulawayo then it was sold in Harare where it was later recovered. After committing an offence, Bhuru fled to an unknown residential address.”
