The Chief of Staff to the Lagos State Governor, Tayo Ayinde, on Friday paid a condolence visit to the family of late Nollywood actor, Alhaji Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo.
Ayinde visited the bereaved family on behalf of the Lagos State Government and Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, as well as the Renewed Hope Ambassadors Campaign Group.
Taiwo Hassan, who died recently, was described as a prominent member of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors Group and a great ambassador of Lagos State.

During the visit, Ayinde conveyed the condolences of the Lagos State Government and the Renewed Hope Ambassadors to the family, while acknowledging the late actor’s contributions to the entertainment industry and his role in promoting Lagos State.
Ogogo was a respected figure in the Nigerian film industry, particularly known for his contributions to Yoruba-language cinema.
The condolence visit was part of efforts by the state government and members of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors to identify with the family during the period of mourning.
Ayinde’s visit came as tributes continued to pour in for the late Nollywood veteran, with colleagues, political figures, friends and associates remembering his contributions to the entertainment industry and public life.
