Ghanaian forward Richmond Gyamfi is set to leave AGF Aarhus on loan again, with the versatile attacker agreeing a temporary move to Norwegian side Egersunds IK until the end of the season, per Joy Sports.The 21-year-old will join Egersunds in search of consistent first-team football after struggling to establish himself as a regular at AGF since his move to the Danish club.The latest transfer is designed to provide Gyamfi with more minutes and an opportunity to regain rhythm as he continues his development.Gyamfi joined AGF from Hobro IK in July 2024 for a reported nine million Danish kroner (900,000), becoming the most expensive player sold in Hobros history. He signed a contract with AGF until June 2029.He made six appearances for the club during the autumn of 2024, starting two Danish Superliga matches before subsequently returning to Hobro on loan in January 2025.The forward then joined Esbjerg fB on another season-long loan in August 2025, but his progress was hampered by injuries.Gyamfi made his Esbjerg debut just two days after completing the move but later missed six matches through injury and was sidelined for the entire spring.His spell at Hobro had demonstrated his attacking potential, with three goals and four assists in 10 senior league appearances before his move to AGF.Gyamfi will now hope to make the most of his latest opportunity in Norway by staying fit, playing regularly and rediscovering the form that earned him a record-breaking move to AGF.The Egersunds loan represents another chance for the Ghanaian to accelerate his development and return to Denmark with greater first-team experience.
