Sinapi Aba golfers excel at 8th AGA Otumfour Invitational

Sinapi Aba Savings and Loans recorded two notable results at the 8th AGA Otumfour Invitational, with Lydia Opoku Ware winning the ladies’ competition and Tony Appiah finishing runner-up in the men’s event.

The annual tournament was held at the Royal Golf Club, bringing together 72 golfers from clubs across Ghana to compete for honours and strengthen ties within the golfing community.

The competition was played in the singles Stableford format, which awards points based on players’ scores on individual holes, with the highest total determining the winner.

Opoku Ware’s victory in the ladies’ category was a highlight for Sinapi Aba Savings and Loans, while Appiah’s runner-up finish in the men’s competition added to the institution’s showing at the event.

Beyond the competition, the AGA Otumfour Invitational provided an opportunity for golfers from different clubs to interact, build relationships and celebrate their shared interest in the sport.

The annual event continues to combine sporting competition with fellowship, bringing together golfers from across the country.
