Emmanuel Bright Quaicoe is Ashanti 2025 Best Journalist

A reporter of Luv FM, Emmanuel Bright Quaicoe, has emerged the 2025 Best Journalist in the Ashanti Region. He was also adjudged Best Feature Production, Best Agriculture Reporter and runner up of the Best Entertainment Journalism.

Nineteen journalists from major regional and national media houses were recognised across 10 competitive categories at the Ashanti Media Excellence Awards (Ashanti GJA Excellence Awards), organized by the Ashanti Regional Chapter of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) last Saturday.

The theme for the occasion was: “Celebrating Excellence, Championing Credibility: Journalism in the Age of AI”.

Key Categories included Sports, Education, Arts & Entertainment, Business & Economy, Environmental Science, Climate Change, Crime & Court, Community Impact, Health, and Agriculture.

Mr. Kofi Badu, a veteran journalist and currently serving as Chief of Staff at the office of Asantehene was also honoured for his long-standing contributions to journalism and public service. Mr. Badu is a former Managing Director of Graphic Communications Group Limited.
