Good News for Sifuna as Prominent Figure Asks Him to Leave This to Him as He Mobilises Voters

Tim Wanyonyi has sent a message to Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna, assuring him of his support as the Linda Mwananchi movement continues to strengthen its political presence ahead of the 2027 General Election.

Speaking about the movement’s plans, Wanyonyi said he had asked Sifuna to leave Bungoma under his watch as the senator travels to other parts of the country to seek support.

“I have told Sifuna to leave Bungoma to me to keep an eye on while he visits other parts of Kenya to look for votes,” Wanyonyi said.

His remarks come at a time when Sifuna and his allies are stepping up efforts to popularise their political movement beyond their traditional support bases.

The Bungoma politician’s statement also points to the importance of Western Kenya in the growing political activities surrounding the Linda Mwananchi team.

Sifuna has been at the centre of the movement, which has attracted several political figures, including Wanyonyi and other leaders who have expressed interest in its agenda.

The group has been working to build its grassroots support as political discussions surrounding possible alliances and presidential candidates continue ahead of 2027.

Wanyonyi’s remarks suggest that he is ready to take responsibility for mobilising support in Bungoma while other leaders concentrate on reaching voters in different regions.

Bungoma remains an important political battleground, with leaders expected to intensify their engagement with residents as the next election approaches.

The latest statement is likely to attract attention among supporters of the Linda Mwananchi movement, particularly those following Sifuna’s growing political ambitions.

With political activities gaining momentum, attention now turns to how the team will organise its campaigns across the country.

Will Wanyonyi manage to secure strong support for Sifuna in Bungoma as the movement expands its national reach?
