Infinix Spotlights the GT 50 Pro at PMNC Nigeria 2026 Fall Finals

Infinix Nigeria reinforced its commitment to the country’s growing esports ecosystem as the Official Gaming Partner of the PUBG Mobile National Championship (PMNC) Nigeria 2026 Fall Finals. Held from September 12 to 13 at the University of Lagos Indoor Sports Complex, the championship brought together 16 of Nigeria’s top PUBG Mobile teams in a battle for national glory and qualification opportunities on the continental stage.

Over two days, fans witnessed intense competition, tactical gameplay and standout performances from some of the country’s most talented mobile gamers. At the end of the championship, Team Pride emerged victorious, securing the title after a dominant showing against a highly competitive field and further cementing its position among Nigeria’s leading esports teams.

While the tournament celebrated the best of Nigerian mobile gaming talent, it also served as the perfect stage for Infinix to showcase its newly launched GT 50 Pro, a gaming flagship purpose-built for players who demand sustained performance, precision controls and immersive gameplay experiences.

Speaking on the partnership, Oluwayemisi Ode, PR Manager, Infinix Nigeria, said:

“The PMNC Nigeria Finals brought together exactly the kind of community the GT 50 Pro was built for. Competitive gaming demands consistency, responsiveness and performance under pressure, and that is precisely what this device delivers. By partnering with PMNC Nigeria, we are not only showcasing the capabilities of the GT 50 Pro but also supporting the continued growth of Nigeria’s esports ecosystem and the talented gamers driving it forward.”

At the heart of the GT 50 Pro is the industry’s largest active micro-pump HydroFlow Liquid Cooling Architecture, engineered specifically to address one of mobile gaming’s biggest challenges, overheating. The system utilizes advanced micro-pump liquid cooling technology to actively dissipate heat from critical performance components and maintain stable performance during demanding gaming sessions.

For competitive gamers, thermal management is more than a specification. It can determine whether a device maintains peak performance during crucial moments or suffers from frame drops when temperatures rise. The GT 50 Pro’s advanced cooling architecture is designed to help players maintain high frame rates, smooth gameplay and reliable responsiveness even during extended periods of intensive gaming.

The device further elevates gameplay through its industry-first Open-Cut Pressure-Sense GT Trigger system. Designed to deliver console-inspired control, the dual pressure-sensitive triggers provide faster reactions, greater precision and customizable controls for aiming, weapon switching and executing complex in-game actions. Combined with Native 144FPS support on selected esports titles, the GT 50 Pro gives players a competitive edge through smoother visuals and faster response times.

Powering the experience is the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate processor, supported by intelligent software features such as Hardcore Esports Mode, AI Smart Trigger, AI Voice Prompt and AI ZoneTouch Master. Together, these features create an optimized gaming environment that allows players to focus on strategy and execution without distraction.

The GT 50 Pro also serves as the centerpiece of Infinix’s New GT Ecosystem, a growing collection of gaming-focused hardware, accessories and intelligent software solutions designed to deliver a complete gaming experience for modern players.

The partnership with PMNC Nigeria reflects Infinix’s broader commitment to supporting esports development across Africa by investing in platforms that nurture talent, build communities and create opportunities for the next generation of gamers.

The Infinix GT 50 Pro is now available in Nigeria on Jumia Nigeria e-commerce platform in three colour options: Black Abyss, Red Blaze and Silver Glacier. The 512GB storage variant, priced at N849,000 features 12GB RAM and up to 12GB extended RAM expansion for enhanced multitasking and gaming performance.

As mobile gaming continues to grow across Nigeria, the GT 50 Pro represents Infinix’s vision for the future of competitive gaming: a device built to help players perform at their best while supporting the evolution of esports across the continent.
