**Egyptian-founded Buzzy Party is a multi-player social gaming app focused on Arabic-speaking users, which allows players to join public or private rooms, meet new people, chat, and play party games together in real time. **
Founder Mahmoud Hamed launched the first version of Buzzy Party in April 2025 as a solo developer, but the product has evolved significantly through constant updates and user feedback.
The app combines social interaction with casual games such as trivia, guessing games, drawing games, and social deduction games. The goal is to give people a fun place to spend time with friends or meet new people online.
“I felt there was a lack of social gaming platforms built specifically for Arabic-speaking users. Many international apps support Arabic, but the experience is usually designed for a global audience first,” said Hamed.
“Buzzy Party was designed around the way people in the region socialise and play together online. We compete indirectly with party games, social deduction games, and voice or chat communities, but our focus is bringing social interaction and casual multiplayer games together in one platform.”
The company is completely self-funded, yet Buzzy Game has already reached more than 500,000 installs across iOS and Android.
“Growth has mostly come through word of mouth and organic discovery. We recently passed 500,000 installs, and users spend a significant amount of time in the app. Many users come not only to play games but also to socialise with friends and other members of the community,” Hamed said.
Most of Buzzy Party’s users are currently in Egypt and across the MENA region.
“Going forward, I plan to continue expanding the range of games available on the platform and improve the social features as the community grows. Longer-term, there is also an opportunity to reach Arabic-speaking communities outside the region,” Hamed said.
Revenue currently comes from advertising and in-app purchases.
“Purchases are mainly for cosmetic items, premium features, and additional content. The business generates enough revenue to support operations and infrastructure, and at this stage my main focus remains product growth and user retention,” said Hamed.
