Sakaja Couldn’t Hide His Smile As Tanzanian Bridal Choir Showers Him With Love At Charlene’s Wedding

Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja had an interesting experience during his visit to Tanzania for Charlene Ruto’s wedding, where he received an enthusiastic welcome from a group of women.

The governor attended the November 6 ceremony in Mwanza, where Charlene married Tanzanian businessman Isaya Yunge. The occasion brought together several guests from Kenya and Tanzania, including political leaders and members of the two families.

One of the moments that attracted attention involved Sakaja and a group of women who identified themselves as members of the bridal choir.

The women appeared delighted to see the Nairobi governor. They gathered around him, expressing their excitement through cheers and ululation as he interacted with them.

The encounter stood out among the moments captured during the wedding celebrations, particularly because of the ladies’ enthusiastic reaction to his presence.

After attending the celebrations, Sakaja shared a short message about his experience through his social media account.

He posted the words “Tanzania Iko Love” alongside a location tag showing that he was in Mwanza.

Although his message was brief, it attracted reactions from social media users who appeared amused by his experience during the visit.

Among those who liked the post was George Ruto, who was also present at his sister’s wedding.

Some followers responded with playful comments, with one suggesting that the governor should consider remaining in Tanzania. Others used the opportunity to express their continued support for him.

The reactions turned Sakaja’s post into another talking point surrounding the wedding festivities.

Charlene’s wedding was a major gathering that brought together guests from different parts of East Africa.

The daughter of President William Ruto exchanged vows with Isaya Yunge in Mwanza, the groom’s home region. The ceremony followed their traditional engagement held in Kilgoris, Narok County, in August 2026.

The celebrations attracted considerable public interest, with several moments involving the couple and their guests circulating online.

Sakaja’s interaction with the bridal choir added to the collection of memorable moments from the occasion.
