KPLC Announces Power Cuts in These Regions on Saturday – Details

Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) has announced scheduled electricity interruptions in parts of Nyeri and Kiambu counties on Saturday, warning residents and businesses to prepare for temporary power outages.

The planned interruptions are expected to affect selected areas as the electricity distributor carries out maintenance work on its power network.

Residents who depend on electricity for their daily activities have been advised to take note of the announcement and make necessary arrangements before the scheduled interruptions.

The planned maintenance is particularly important for businesses, schools, health facilities and other institutions that rely on a steady electricity supply to operate.

Small businesses using electric equipment could also experience temporary disruptions, while households may need to plan their activities around the announced maintenance hours.

Kenya Power regularly carries out scheduled maintenance to improve its electricity distribution network and address issues that could affect reliable power supply.

However, the company normally provides specific locations and interruption times to help customers identify whether their homes, workplaces or businesses will be affected.

The announcement comes as Kenya Power continues to communicate planned outages to customers in different parts of the country.

Customers are encouraged to check the company’s official communication channels for the complete list of affected locations and the exact hours when electricity supply will be interrupted.

Those operating businesses that require uninterrupted electricity may also consider making temporary arrangements to reduce possible losses during the maintenance period.

The company has not provided enough verified information in the report supplied to establish every affected neighbourhood or the precise duration of the Saturday interruptions.

Residents in Nyeri and Kiambu should therefore confirm the latest official notice before making changes to their plans.

The scheduled exercise is expected to be temporary, with electricity supply restored after the maintenance work is completed.
