ALLEGED Fancy Boys dik ding Marwaan “Wonky” Alexander has been sentenced to 25 years innie mang.
Alexander learned his fate in the Bellville Regional Court on 28 August 2026 after he was vasgevat by police with a moerse arsenal of guns and ammunition at storage unit in Labiance in March 2025.
At the time of his arrest, police spokesperson Brigadier Novela Potelwa said cops found three AK-47 rifles, one R5 rifle, one assault rifle, 12 pistols, three Uzzis, four shotguns, two revolvers, 50 000 Mandrax tablets, six M26 grenades and a large quantity of an assortment of rounds of ammunition.
During his bail hearing, he was represented by Advocate Bruce Hendricks admitted that Alexander had previous convictions.
He told the Daily Voice: “Accused no. 1 [Alexander] has a previous conviction for possession of an unlicensed firearm and he was sentenced in the Western Cape High Court in 2004 to an effective term of nine years imprisonment.”
During the trial, Western Cape police say that Alexander entered into a plea agreement with the State.
A police statement said: “He abandoned his bail and entered into a plea agreement with the state.
“On Friday 28 August 2026, the 49-year-old gang affiliated male was convicted for aiding and abetting gang activity, possession of unlicensed firearms, possession of prohibited firearms, illegal possession of ammunition, unlawful possession of explosives, and possession of drugs.
“He was sentenced to 25 years’ direct imprisonment.”
