“He is The Enemy” MP Oscar Sudi Names One Opposition Leader Who Could Weaken it Ahead of 2027

Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi has accused former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua of being a threat to the opposition, claiming his political activities could weaken the anti-government camp ahead of the 2027 General Election.

Sudi described Gachagua as an enemy of the opposition, arguing that his involvement in the political landscape could undermine efforts to build a united front against President William Ruto.

The legislator made the remarks while discussing the growing political divisions and realignments among opposition leaders seeking to challenge the Kenya Kwanza administration.

He suggested that Gachagua’s political approach could create further disagreements among leaders instead of strengthening their cooperation.

Gachagua, who leads the Democracy for the Citizens Party (DCP), has been mobilising support in the Mt Kenya region following his fallout with Ruto.

The remarks come amid ongoing discussions about possible opposition alliances and strategies ahead of the 2027 elections.
