Build Together beneficiaries wanted for verification

The Swakopmund Municipality has called on 34 beneficiaries of the Centralised Build Together Programme (CBTP) who received assistance between 1992 and 1998 to provide property and contact details for verification.

The municipality, in a notice placed this week, said the Ministry of Urban and Rural Development wants to carry out Deeds Office searches. This is to verify the registration status of properties allocated under the programme.

“The exercise aims to update property records, improve administrative processes and facilitate future property transfers,” the notice reads.

Beneficiaries are urged to visit the municipality with their erf numbers, street names, suburbs, identity document numbers and contact details.

Those who benefited from the programme during the period, but whose names do not appear on the list are also requested to come forward. The verification exercise runs until 4 December. Beneficiaries can submit their information or make enquiries at the municipal head office on weekdays between 14h00 and 16h00. Aina Nduuvundi and Nikolas Ndeikonghola from the municipality will assist beneficiaries with enquiries and submissions.

The beneficiaries listed in the notice are Shifande D Imanuel, Victoria Tjandero, Stella Hoebes, David Am-Gabeb, Olga Muruko, Monica Guriras, Helena Jonas, Anastasia Kaijoo, Johanna Haishonga, Lydia Matsuis, Veronica Goses, Bertrine Geises, Martin Aoseb, Engelhardine Ames, Menesia Tjivikua, Ligeus Ganaseb and Julia Mathias.

The remaining beneficiaries are Anna Shahama, Veronika Jeremia, Marianne Seibes, Lydia Heibes, Elifas Endjala, Elesta Uiras, Erasmus P. Angolo, Seth J. Kashethe, Rebekka Andreas, Frieda Angula, Petrunella Mbari, Benediktus Gaseb, Matheus Ochurub, Albertus Tsamaseb, Ephraim Witbooi, Aron Hofni and Tobias Haitota.
