Ewura Adams Karim Picks Nomination Form to Contest NDC Deputy Communications Officer Position

Ewura Adams Karim has taken a major step towards contesting for the position of National Deputy Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) after picking a nomination form to officially enter the race.

The move signals Karim’s intention to play a more active role in the party’s national communication team and contribute to how the NDC shares its messages with the public.

The National Deputy Communications Officer position is important because communication plays a key role in political organisations. Officers in this role help explain the party’s policies, respond to public concerns, communicate its achievements, and defend its positions on national issues.

With political competition often taking place through traditional media, television, radio, newspapers, and social media, effective communication has become increasingly important for political parties seeking public support.

By picking the nomination form, Karim has taken an initial step in the process of seeking the position. However, the move does not automatically guarantee victory, as the outcome will depend on the party’s internal electoral process and the support of eligible delegates or voters.

The contest could also provide an opportunity for party members to assess the candidates’ experience, communication skills, leadership abilities, and plans for strengthening the NDC’s public engagement.

If elected, Karim would be expected to work with other members of the party’s communications team to promote its message, respond to political developments, and help maintain communication between party leadership, members, and the general public.

The development comes at a time when political communication continues to shape public discussions about governance, national development, and party policies in Ghana.

However, further details about Karim’s campaign plans, proposed policies, and possible competitors have not been provided in the information available.

As the process moves forward, attention will be on how Karim presents the campaign and whether the bid attracts sufficient support within the party.
