Ghana Football Association President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku was present at a high-level meeting between FIFA, CAF and Nigerian football authorities to discuss reforms in the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).The meeting was held at the FIFA House in Zurich on Tuesday and brought together representatives of FIFA, CAF, CAF advisers, Nigeria's National Sports Commission (NSC) and the NFF administration.The discussions followed the resignation of NFF President Ibrahim Musa Gusau and other principal officers of the federation.FIFA formally accepted the resignations and agreed to continue discussions with the Nigerian authorities on a roadmap for comprehensive reforms of Nigerian football.The NFF said the meeting focused on developing short, medium, and long-term reforms aimed at creating an inclusive and stable administration.FIFA, on Tuesday, accepted the resignations of principal officers of the Nigeria Football Federation, and pledged to continue the engagement with the Government of Nigeria, the NFF administration and the Confederation of African Football on a new roadmap for comprehensive reforms of Nigeria football, the NFF said.Okraku, who also serves as CAF Second Vice-President, attended the meeting alongside former NFF President and ex-FIFA Council member Amaju Pinnick.The reform discussions come after a difficult period for Nigerian football, with the Super Eagles missing the 2026 FIFA World Cup and the Super Falcons failing to qualify for the 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup.
