Nii Ashie Moore Applauds Winners Of NDC Internal Elections

The Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Emmanuel Nii Ashie Moore, has congratulated winners of the party’s constituency elections and urged members to unite ahead of the 2028 general elections.

In a congratulatory message to party members, Mr Moore said the victories reflected the commitment, dedication and hard work of the successful candidates, as well as the confidence reposed in them by delegates.

He commended the newly elected executives for their willingness to serve the party and the country, stressing that their election came with the responsibility to work in the collective interest of the NDC. He urged them to remain humble, uphold the party’s ideals and strengthen its structures to position it for the 2028 elections.

Mr Moore also appealed to unsuccessful candidates to remain committed to the party and continue contributing to its growth and development. “Every member has a valuable role to play, and our collective strength lies in our ability to work together despite our differences,” he said.

He stressed the need for reconciliation after the internal contests, urging members to put their differences aside and work towards the party’s common objectives. According to him, unity and cooperation would be critical to advancing the NDC’s agenda and supporting the vision of President John Dramani Mahama.

The regional chairman further called on members to maintain the spirit of unity in the upcoming regional elections, saying the party needed a common sense of purpose to achieve its goals. He wished the successful candidates wisdom and strength in their new roles, expressing hope that the constituency elections would strengthen party cohesion and promote continued progress within the NDC.
