Augsburg hammered Eintracht Frankfurt 4-1 away in the Bundesliga on Sunday,** completesports.com **reports.
Super Eagles midfielder Raphael Onyedika was in action for Frankfurt and saw 90 minutes of action.
It was Onyedika’s second league appearance since joining Frankfurt from Club Brugge in the summer transfer window. Augsburg Nigerian forward Uchenna Ogundu was once again benched.
Frankfurt started strongly and took a 1-0 lead in the 6th minute through Jonathan Burkardt’s header. The hosts dominated the first half with superior possession and more shots but failed to extend the lead, missing several chances.

In the 46th minute, Arijon Ibrahimović equalized with a header then just a minute later Robin Fellhauer scored to make it 2-1 after Frankfurt goalkeeper Noah Atubolu spilled a relatively harmless effort.
Substitute Alexis Claude-Maurice added a third in the 65th minute, and Fabian Rieder sealed the 4-1 win with a superb free-kick in the 89th minute.
This was Augsburg’s second win of the season (following a strong opening result), giving them six points and the Bundesliga table lead. Frankfurt, after a 3-3 draw with Union Berlin in Matchday 1, remain on one point and sit in the lower half of the table.
