BABY JOY? Fans rush to congratulate the star after his mysterious newborn post

MENSE showered TV presenter and musician Jub Jub with messages of congratulations after he shared a picture of himself holding a newborn baby on social media.
The entertainer, whose real name is Molemo Maarohanye, posted the picture on Instagram on Monday, 7 September, leaving his followers speculating about the newest addition to his family.
Jub Jub did not provide a caption explaining the identity of the baby, instead adding a red heart emoji and several hashtags to the post.
The comment section quickly filled with messages from followers congratulating the Uyajola 9/9 presenter.
“Congrats are in order, daddy. Blessings to you and fam,” commented Instagram user @nonna_mash.
“Welcome to the new member of the family,” commented @milawandemajola.
Jub Jub also liked some of the congratulatory comments, further fuelling interest in the post.
He has one publicly known child, a son named Christian, whom he shares with singer Kelly Khumalo. He has not publicly confirmed whether the baby girl in his latest post is his child.
The post came after his latest court appearance, before the Germiston Magistrate’s Court in connection with an incident involving an e-hailing driver in Edenvale on June 14.
He faces two charges: possession of an imitation firearm with intent to commit an offence, and pointing of anything likely to cause a person to believe it is a firearm.
During the investigation, law enforcement officials seized a pellet gun from his residence.
Gauteng National Prosecuting Authority spokesperson Magaboke Mohlatlole previously said the NPA was gereed to proceed with the matter.
Jub Jub is not the only South African entertainment figure to welcome a new addition to the family this year.
Rapper Shane Eagle and his partner, Nicole Hughes, welcomed their second child, a boy, together in September 2026. Hughes shared a carousel on Instagram and, in her caption, revealed the baby’s name, Francis Maximus Hughes.
The couple is already parents to daughter Gia, who was born in 2024. Their latest arrival marks another milestone for the couple, who have largely kept their family life away from the spotlight.
