Krispy Kreme has special offers in stores on 4th and 5th November.
AI summary
It is a busy week for South Africans of all ages. The 2026 Matric class is still writing exams and they have recently been joined by university students writing their own final exams for the year. Any one of voting age also has their civic duty to go out and vote on 4th November for the Local Government Elections (LGE).
No matter which group you belong to, Krispy Kreme South Africa has something free for you.
The local chain of the confectionary brand best known for its donuts will be running two promotions this week:
For voters
“Your vote deserves a hole lot of JOY! Make your mark, show us your inked finger and enjoy an Original Glazed Doughnut on US!” another social media post from the company reads.
This promotion is also only available while stocks last, Ts&Cs apply, at physical stores, but this time the date to get your freebie is on 4th November – election day itself.
If you’ve been meaning to try that trend from earlier in the year, where you heat up a Krispy Kreme doughnut on a pan to give it a hard, sugary exterior, then this is the perfect time to do so. If you mess up the cooking, you don’t lose any money.
For students
“Krispy Kreme & BIC have teamed up for a sweet deal! Fuel those study sessions or be the office hero with 3 Original Glazed Doughnuts and get a FREE Limited Edition Krispy Kreme BIC 4 Colours Pen! Because every exam hero deserves the best writing tool AND a little treat,” Krispy Kreme writes on social media.
This offer will only be available on 5th November and only at physical locations while stocks last.
In the announcement, we don’t see any mention of verification that only students will receive this pen, but there is the catchall “Ts&Cs apply” at the end of the statement.
Lastly we should mention that, at least for Matrics, there will be no exams on 5th November. 3rd, 4th and 5th November are “non-examination days” as stated in the official exam schedule. This is in addition to 4th November being a public holiday for everyone, so they can go out and vote.
The final non-examination day is on 9th November.
