The 28-year-old Sissako is a former France youth international with the U-18s and U-19s where he amassed a total of 20 caps at that level and scored one goal.

He began his career at RC France where he spent over eight years before moving to Auxerre youth team where he was nurtured for four years between 2012 and 2016.

He earned promotion to the Auxerre B team and played there for three years (2015-2018) and made 33 league appearances.

His was then promoted to the senior Auxerre team in 2016 and spent two years with them until 2018 playing in over 13 league matches.

Sissako was then sold to Chateauroux playing for both the senior team and reserves until 2019 when he moved to Belgium joining Zulte Waregem for a solid four years featuring in over 89 league matches, scoring four times from his defensive position.

In 2023, he joined Kortrijk where he played 64 league matches and scored twice until 2025 when he transferred to his current side Sint Truiden.

In the current 2026/27 campaign, the new Ugandan international has started all seven matches for Sint Truiden in the Belgian Pro-League, making an assist and getting only booked once.

Sint-Truiden current occupies 11th position with a record [P7, W2, D2, L3 GF 12, GA 12, Pts 8].

Sisaako’s current market value is 2 million Euros.
