United States–based Trinidadian rapper and singer, Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty, popularly known as Nicki Minaj, has spoken about her Christian faith, saying she is determined to one day meet Jesus as she continues to express her belief in God.
Nicki Minaj shared the message in a post on X on Sunday, where she reflected on her desire to see Jesus and her Christian journey.
She wrote, “I’ve got my mind made up And I won’t turn back because I want to see my Jesus some day.”

She also shared an image of Psalm 36 from the Bible, focusing on verses that contrast the behaviour of wicked people with God’s love, faithfulness, righteousness and justice.
In a separate post accompanying the Bible passage, Nicki Minaj said she would normally share the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible but chose the New International Version (NIV) because she believed its wording could be easier for newer believers to understand.
She also offered a blessing to her followers and said the message represented what she believed the Lord was communicating that day.
She tweeted, “This is what the Lord is saying today.
“I’d normally only post the KJV, but I think you’ll understand why the NIV may cut through a little more to newer believers. The Lord richly bless you.”
