Ruto Makes Headlines After Naming Kalonzo Musyoka as One of Two People God Is Using in Kenya

President William Ruto has attracted attention after making remarks in which he claimed that there are two people God is using in Kenya, naming himself and Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka.

The statement has sparked interest among Kenyans, especially because Ruto and Kalonzo have maintained different political positions as the country moves closer to the 2027 General Election.

Ruto’s remarks have raised questions about the message he intended to communicate by mentioning Kalonzo alongside himself. The president’s statement is also likely to fuel discussions among political leaders and supporters who have been closely following developments surrounding the country’s leadership and emerging political alliances.

Kalonzo remains an influential figure in Kenya’s opposition politics and has repeatedly featured in conversations about the formation of a united opposition capable of challenging Ruto at the ballot. His political experience and regional support have made him an important player in discussions about the next presidential contest.

On the other hand, Ruto has continued to defend his administration’s record and promote its development agenda as he seeks to consolidate support ahead of the next election. His leadership has attracted both praise and criticism, with Kenyans expressing different views on government policies, economic challenges and the country’s future.

The mention of Kalonzo is particularly notable given the political differences between the two leaders. However, Ruto’s statement alone does not confirm any agreement or plan for a political partnership between them.

As the 2027 elections approach, remarks involving prominent political figures are likely to attract increased public attention. Leaders are expected to continue communicating their political positions while exploring possible alliances and strategies for the upcoming contest.

Ruto’s statement has therefore added another talking point to Kenya’s political debate, with many likely to watch for further clarification or reactions from Kalonzo and other political leaders.

Whether the remarks carry a deeper political message remains to be seen as the country prepares for another closely watched election season.
