
Swansea City manager Vitor Matos has confirmed that Ghana international Joseph Opoku has suffered a minor injury setback. The youngster was in action for the Championship side on Saturday and scored the opening goal in their emphatic 3-0 victory over Derby County.However, he was subbed off after just 24 minutes and replaced by Moussa Kounfolo Yeo.After the win, Vitor Matos confirmed Opokus injury, stating that the attacker suffered a cut on his foot and could not continue the match due to the unbearable pain."He had a cut on his foot; it was deep and really bleeding. It was really painful for him. That is why he had to come out," Matos said after that game.The Swansea boss continued, "He could not cope with the rest of the game.Amid fears of a lengthy spell on the sidelines, Matos has assured supporters that Joseph Opoku will be back on the pitch in no time.He has stressed that the injury is not major and the attacker could spend only a few days on the sidelines.
