Pa Reuben Fasoranti: A century of conviction, service and the struggle for a better Nigeria

One of the most revealing accounts of his character emerged after his death. Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation and former finance minister Oba Olu Falae recalled that, while serving as principal of Oyemekun Grammar School, Fasoranti admitted pupils from poor families and allowed some to complete their secondary education on credit, giving them the opportunity to repay after leaving school.
