Will Kenyans surrendering old electronics be paid? Safaricom explains

Safaricom has clarified that Kenyans who surrender their old phones, chargers and other electronic devices at its outlets will not receive monetary compensation.The telecommunications company made the clarification after a customer enquired whether they would be paid for disposing of unwanted electronic gadgets at its shops.In a customer service exchange shared in a screenshot, the customer asked Safaricom whether they would receive money for handing over their old electronics.
