Sigelege Beach Resort responds after Tay Grin’s viral Facebook remarks

Sigelege Beach Resort has broken its silence following a guest experience that recently drew attention on social media, after celebrated Malawian artist Tay Grin described the resort as “boring” following his visit.

In a statement released by the resort, management emphasized its commitment to fairness and professionalism, saying all guests are treated equally regardless of their social standing, public profile, or background.

“We operate under clear policies and standards that are applied equally to everyone, regardless of status, recognition, or background,” the statement reads.

The resort acknowledged that experiences involving public figures often attract heightened public interest and scrutiny. It said it understands the need to handle such matters thoughtfully while remaining committed to maintaining its service standards.

According to the statement, Sigelege Beach Resort will continue reviewing guest feedback and refining its services to ensure that every visitor feels respected, valued, and welcomed.

While the resort did not directly mention Tay Grin or provide specific details about the incident, the statement comes in the wake of the artist’s public comments about his experience at the lakeside destination.
