Reps Mull N1Bn Fine, 10-Year Prison Term for Exporting Payment Data Under New Bill

National Payment Data Protection and Sovereignty Commission bill, to regulate and protect financial transaction data generated within Nigeria, is proposing a minimum fine of N1 billion for transferring payment transaction data outside the country.
