Akwa Ibom Assembly Yet To Receive State Police Bill – House Spokesman

Akwa Ibom house of Assembly is awaiting the State Police Bill from the Presidency and would act accordingly as soon as it is received by the 26-member legislature.

According to the chairman of the House’s Information Committee, Hon. Jerry Otu, the State Police Bill has not been received by the State Assembly which is currently undergoing massive rehabilitation at its Udo Udoma office complex and has been forced to conduct proceedings and its plenary sessions at the old assembly facility along Welling Bassey Way, close to the governor’s office.
