French week was inaugurated in 2025. It is a flagship initiative of FCCU that brings together the French, Ugandan and international business communities, to strengthen economic relations, promote invested and create opportunities for business partnerships and collaborations.
It will focus on the opportunities and challenges presented by Uganda transition towards a greener, more sustainable and innovative economy.
The 2026 programme combines business networking, economic dialogue and recognition of excellence providing direct platforms for business, government, investors, development partners and other stakeholders to connect and engage.
Tuesday, 22nd September 2026 is ear-marked for the business and economic forum the theme “Green Energy, Decarbonisation and Digital Finance in Agricultural Sustainability.
The forum will examine how innovation, technology and finance can contribute to a more sustainable, resilient and competitive agricultural sector in Uganda.
The French week will conclude with a dinner and Awards gala on 23rd of September bringing together distinguished guests from the business, diplomatic, government and development communities.
The Gala will celebrate excellence, innovation, sustainability and entrepreneurship while recognising individuals and organisations whose contributions support Uganda’s economic development and stronger France – Uganda business relationships.
