MPs Summoned For Sept. 29

The Speaker of Parliament, Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, has summoned Parliament to sit on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at Parliament House in Accra.

The sitting, scheduled for 12 noon, is being convened pursuant to Article 112 (3) of the 1992 Constitution and Order 53 of the Standing Orders of Parliament.

A notice issued from the Office of the Speaker yesterday said the summons was in accordance with the constitutional and parliamentary provisions governing the convening of Parliament.

The notice, dated September 24, 2026, was signed by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin.

No details were provided in the notice on the specific business or matters to be considered when the House resumes sitting.
