The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has scheduled planned and emergency maintenance exercises in selected communities across six regions from Monday, October 26, to Friday, October 30, 2026, to improve the reliability of electricity supply.
The exercise will affect parts of Accra East, Accra West, Tema, the Central Region, the Volta Region and the Ashanti Region.
According to ECG’s maintenance schedule, the works will involve technical interventions to upgrade electricity infrastructure, repair underground cables and strengthen the power distribution network.
The company said the activities form part of its ongoing efforts to address network faults, improve infrastructure and ensure a more reliable supply of electricity to consumers in the affected operational areas.
Residents and businesses within the designated communities are advised to monitor ECG’s official communication channels for details of the affected locations and the specific dates and times of any planned power interruptions.
