NEC make a long trip to Western Uganda, Kamwenge aiming to move top of the table.
At the Rwamwanja Stadium, joint-second placed NEC on 11 points, will visit bottom-of-the-table Kigezi Home Boyz at 4:00 PM.
Badru Kaddu’s “Die Hards” missed a chance to take control of the league last week after firing blanks in a 0-0 home draw against Express FC. They will have to navigate Wednesday’s tie without the services of the suspended James Jarieko.
Despite the missing forward, NEC starts as favorites against a struggling Kigezi side that suffered a 1-0 loss to Kitara FC in Hoima during their last match. A win for NEC will instantly push them above BUL FC to the top of the table.
The hosts are the only side in the premier league yet to win a game in the topflight.
In the other game on the afternoon, SC Villa visit Police at the Kira Police Arena in Kamwokya.
